When copolymerized with methyl methacrylate (MMA), it enables uniform cross-linking, balancing tackiness and shear resistance in adhesives.
E Plus Chemical’s acrylate-based waterborne acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive is used in various industrial and consumer applications. Though solvent-based systems have faster initial adhesion, waterborne ones achieve comparable peel strength (≥12 N/25 mm) after curing, and reduce energy use in curing.
